We even had to send in a video journal a few times. After playing for 14 days, 2 hours min a day as a requirement, we would fill out these lengthy questionnaires. I was part of a few alpha tests and focus groups. I think either the feedback players gave through the alphas, betas, and F&F were either incredibly fucking stupid or the developers did not care. It is shocking to me that FF14 original release was lambasted for copy-paste world and New World however many years later, has huge portions of the world copy-pasted. The biggest problem to me aside from the bugs is the ancient, slow-paced combat and the copy-paste world. I think at least 2 years of development could have done the game a lot of good. While I enjoy the game it is extremely buggy and has so many sloppy and lazy design decisions.

Movies aren't released before they finish making them, games should be released before they are ready - this is an industry issue. AGS needs to either grow a pair and delay release against the gamers wishes, or they need to hire more people on their team to address the issues much more quickly.Īlso worth noting that I don't know anything about coding, but it's the companies responsibility to not release a game that's not 's not the gamers fault for wanting it. And also, as you mentioned above these issues were noted in the alpha and beta.so why weren't they fixed during the year after alpha? And than when noted again in beta, why were they not fixed during the month delay?Īt a certain point to you can't blame the public for wanting to play the game without resets. If everything's paid upfront they don't need to support it to get paid.īut I think the reason people were wanting the release is because the game was already delayed a year, than another month. Amazon would only not do a subscription if they thought it would make them more money. Im honestly starting to think they had no intention of continuing support for this game.
H1Z1 JUST SURVIVE PATCH NOTES FULL
Its ridiculous for us to be expected to be understanding of the crunch, when the company that just scammed everyone out of the full price since they didn't do a subscription model, doesnt seem to be understanding of the effects of these bugs. Obviously sucks for the devs but it is also not the consumers responsibility. These aren't small issues there are multiple game breaking problems. If amazon doesn't give them time to make the changes they are indicating that they don't need that time. If alpha was shit there should have been another. If beta is for stability it should have been worked out in alpha. While that's true, then their timeline should reflect time to make changes after the beta.
